3. REPORTS
(a) Treasurer's Report -- Fred Heath, AI3Z
Started October with $1323.75. After snacks, 50/50, and income from 2 new members’ dues, we have bank balance: $1328.50 to begin November.
(b) Station Equipment and Operation Reports
i. Northrop Grumman Family Net, Weds 3pm ET – Chip W4PBG / Bob K3FQP
Chip reports that due to trouble with the Yaesu desk mike, operators have had to use the headset mike. The problem with the desk mike is that voice drops to a low level in the middle of use. Jim N3GOO has attempted repair in the past. Members suggested using cleaners, bypassing a shaping circuit if not needed. Gary W3DTN volunteered to take a look at the desk mike.

ii. Monthly Power Line Noise Report – Rol K3RA
Noise was gone for a little while - BGE did substantial work shortly before the meeting with the Public Service Commission - but now the noise is back, so not all noise sources have been fixed or new ones have emerged. A month ago, noise was "popping" but now seems more constant. Glenn Booth of BGE who typically helps us in locating noise sources has been on vacation.
Rol has asked when work will be scheduled; did not hear back promptly from BGE, so followed up with PSC. Has let BGE know if we don't hear about work schedule by December, will contact FCC.

iii. Antenna Issues
Jim N3GOO had proposed a wiring diagram for Fred’s crossover switch - to allow more switching between antennas while preventing users from connecting two radios. Fred and Jim will work on this.

iv. Radio Issues
Heru has been holding TV net on Tuesday and raised the issue of space allocation at the station. Swapping rig positions suggested; may not be possible as two computer logging stations needed for special events.

(c) QSL Report – Nick K3NY
No news.

(d) FISTS Report - Nick K3NY
No news.

(e) Training Report -- Rol Anders, K3RA
About 12 students are in Rol’s class and an exam will be held Dec 1.
Rol expects to teach the Technician class in the spring due to high interest.

(f) FAR Report
We still need a FAR Representative.

4. OLD BUSINESS
