ARCNEM 2009 Field Day plans (As discussed at the May, 2009 club meeting).
Field day will be at Gary Mauler’s property:
7553 Wigley Road, Jessup, MD 20794-9714

Call sign and exchange:
Main stations will use K3NEM – 3A MDC
GOTA station will use W3GR – 3A MDC
Set up starts no earlier than 2PM Friday, June 26, 2009.
On air time starts at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2009
On air time ends at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 28, 2009

Main station details:
CLASS 3A with free V/UHF and satellite stations

Station 1 – HF CW
Captain K3NY Nick Yokanovich
Will provide all equipment including generator, and will need tables
Station 2 – HF low band Phone
Captain N3GOO Jim Nowotarski
Will provide all equipment except generator, and will need shelter
(will have tent for inclement wx).
Station 3 – HF Hi band phone
Captains AA3WI John Paul Howell and WA3ZWC Steve Stitzer
Will provide equipment except generator; may need to finalize equipment details.

V/UHF and Satellite
Captain AI3Z Fred
Will coordinate with Chip Weems and Alan Raichel to get satellite antenna system. Chip will supply tent.
GOTA
Captain KB3GSA Jim Dressler
Will use the club equipment supplied from the museum as per previous years. Share location with V/UHF/Sat tent?

* Food and drink supplied by club and master chef N3XVE Ed Smith.
* Tables and Food Tent from Gary Mauler.
* Generator and Gas King – K3LU Ulis
* Public relations – KB3ORF Laurie

Notes:
* Intend to use Gary Mauler’s tower or AI3Z Fred Heath’s light weight tower for the antenna support.
* Jim N will bring a 2 meter vertical and his fiberglass tube type poles for the FD traffic handling.
* AI3Z Fred Heath to provide computers/computer network for logging. Suggest station captains bring a separate computer loaded with the N3FJPs program for a backup.
