Rol Anders', K3RA, weekly Amateur Radio Operating Course held at the NEM. This week's lesson is on VHF/UHF – Beyond Repeaters. Special guest W3ZZ will be speaking.
We will be holding a mini-hamfest of the items that have been designated for
sale that have been taking up space in our storage area. What ever is left
over will be made available for sale at the BARC Hamfest at the end of the
month.

Nick is the QSL manager for K3NEM. Notably the W2W events twice a year have Nick sending out hundreds of certificates around the world.

Get licensed in Amateur Radio. This is the first class of a 7 week course that will prepare you to take the Technican level licensing exam. The class and exam are free. The class will be taught by Rol Anders, K3RA. There are no prerequisites or age limits. Come by the National Electronics Museum and learn about Amateur Radio.

Licensing Exam Session
When: Tuesday, June 2, 2009
Time: 6:30 p.m. (arrive early; bring ID and any current Amateur Radio license)

A free Amateur Radio licensing exam session will be offered on June 2. All exam elements will be offered - Technician, General, and Extra license levels.
